How did a banker turned coach start using astrology?
My jaw dropped. I still remember my first astrological reading sixteen years ago. I was sitting across from a woman who’d left a law firm partnership (!!!) to become a full-time astrologer. Minutes in, she was describing my patterns, my exact struggles and pains, things she had zero way of knowing. And it wasn’t vague or generic, it was specific and very accurate. I remember thinking back then: I need to understand how this works.
So I studied and learned it properly. I used to call it my light hobby, yet it led to countless hours of studies and even real exams. That part always surprises people ;p
At the beginning, it was just a tool for my own clarity and occasionally for friends. Then it started leaking into my executive coaching work. Clients found out, got curious and asked to try. Some said it reminded them of Insights or Enneagram, just more personal to them.
I kept it quiet publicly though and I suspect you can guess why…

Needless to say, it’s not fortune telling and I’m not predicting your future. What a proper reading surfaces is more useful in this context of corporate world or entrepreneurship: blind spots, limiting beliefs, the patterns running just below awareness that shape how you lead under pressure. Once visible, we can work with it in your coaching, leading to very practical steps of clear strategy and more assertive tactics.
What can astrology help senior leaders with?
To give you the examples: this tool can support your self-trust, how you delegate, how you go about the stakeholder management, leadership presentations, and relationship with your team of course. It can also be used in the usual senior leader headaches like the 3am second-guessing, the difficult conversation you’ve postponed three times, the loneliness of having no one to debrief with, or that creeping sense you’re performing a version of leadership that doesn’t fit anymore.
What changes for leaders after a reading?
The reaction I see the most from my clients after the reading is their relief. That there’s nothing wrong with them. What looked like a weakness is actually a specific strength operating in the wrong context. That self-acceptance is an efficient energy management (yes, I think in those terms because I loved my Economics at Uni). Energy that went into performing a version of leadership that was never really theirs. It gets freed up for aligned action instead. Because that inner conflict always sends a bill. Burnout. Apathy. The slow loss of purpose in a career that looks fine from the outside.
Do you need to believe in astrology for it to work?
No, and my clients don’t need to. I use plenty of established psychology and coaching frameworks that get people promoted and purposeful. But of those who try it, roughly 92% come back asking for more.
It’s just a tool. Pick it up, put it down.
But used well, it’s strategic, practical, genuinely insightful. In corporate leadership, every one of those moves the needle.
